4. IV30-minute interview with a member of the BookTarot reader team. We talk ethics, practice, the kind of clients you read for.
5. VDecision within two to three weeks. If accepted, profile goes live within 48 hours of setup.

We don't ask readers to do free sessions for marketing. We don't allow per-minute pricing on the platform. We don't accept readers who advertise curse-removal, psychic-block clearing, or any service outside reflective tarot reading. We don't run VIP placement that lets anyone buy higher search positioning · ranking is based on rating, response time, and active practice.

What does BookTarot take?

40 percent. Openly disclosed, never changes with volume. You keep 60 percent of every session, paid weekly in your local currency via Stripe Connect.

How long does the application take?

About 20 minutes to fill out. Two to three weeks for us to review. Identity verification is done by Stripe Identity, which adds about 15 minutes if you have your documents handy.

What's in the application?

Basic info (legal name, location, languages, years of practice). A bio. A short statement on your ethics. Three sample reading recordings (15 minutes each, panel-confidential). References from two clients who've sat with you. Identity verification.

What sample readings do you want?

Three readings of any length, on any spread, with real clients (with their consent to share). We're looking for how you frame, how you hold space, how you handle the moment when the cards don't say what the client hopes. We're not looking for predictive accuracy.

Do I need to be full-time?

No. Many readers on the platform read part-time alongside other work. The only requirement is that your practice is active · we pause profiles that go dormant beyond 90 days.

Can I read on other platforms too?

Yes. We don't require exclusivity. Your BookTarot profile is yours.

What if I'm new to professional reading?

We accept newer readers, but the panel weighs sample readings more heavily for applicants with less experience. If your readings are strong, years don't matter as much.

What if my application is rejected?

We'll send a specific note on why, where possible. Most rejections are around ethics framing or sample reading quality. You can reapply after six months.
