BookTarot's accessibility commitments under WCAG 2.1 AA, the ADA, and the European Accessibility Act.
Standard
We target WCAG 2.1 AA. We monitor compliance with the European Accessibility Act (effective June 2025) for EU-served users and ADA Title III in the United States.
Practices
- Semantic HTML, proper headings, descriptive alt text.
- Keyboard navigation across all primary flows.
- Color contrast ratios meeting AA on text and meaningful UI elements.
- Visible focus states.
- ARIA live regions on dynamic booking state changes.
- Screen reader testing on the booking flow (NVDA, VoiceOver).
