Getting a refund
When refunds apply, how to request one, and how long they take.

When refunds apply
- Cancellations more than 24 hours before the session: full automatic refund.
- Reader doesn't show: full refund.
- Documented emergencies (illness, bereavement, travel disruption): full refund.
- Sessions that breached our ethics code: full refund.
- Sessions where the technical experience was significantly degraded: partial or full refund at our discretion.
- Sessions that just didn't suit you: session credit (a discount on a future session) rather than a full refund.
How to request
The post-session feedback form has a refund request option. You can also email support@booktarot.com with the booking ID. Tell us briefly what happened.
How long it takes
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3 business days. Visa and Mastercard typically take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement. PayPal is faster, usually within a day.
Disputes
If we decline a refund and you disagree, you can request escalation to our customer experience lead. We respond within 5 business days. After that, you can dispute with your card issuer if you still believe a refund is warranted.
Chargebacks
Issuing a chargeback before contacting us costs us more in fees than the session was worth. If you're considering one, email us first · we usually resolve faster than the chargeback process.
